What material are the products made from?
Unless otherwise stated, our products are made from PLA (Polylactide) – a high-quality, environmentally friendly plastic derived from renewable resources such as corn starch or sugarcane. PLA is a more sustainable alternative to conventional petroleum-based plastics and is biodegradable under industrial composting conditions.
The material is robust, durable, and perfectly suited for daily use.
Where do your materials come from?
Whenever possible, we rely on European producers – for short transport routes, first-class quality, and genuine sustainability. This way, we not only support the local economy but also ensure that your product reaches you with the smallest possible CO₂ footprint.
Where are your products manufactured?
Our products are produced directly here in Austria and are not Chinese dropshipping products.
Is there a warranty on 3D-printed products?
Yes, we provide a 2-year statutory warranty on all our products in accordance with Austrian and EU law. This covers material and manufacturing defects. If your product has a defect, please contact us with photos and a brief description – we will find a solution together.
Please note: The warranty does not apply to improper use, such as exposure to heat above 50°C, mechanical damage, or cleaning in a dishwasher. However, with normal use, our 3D-printed products are very durable and robust.
Are the vases/pots waterproof?
Our vases are produced with specially calibrated print settings to ensure high watertightness. They can therefore be used directly with water.
For additional security – especially with delicate furniture – we recommend using a waterproof mat as a precaution.
Can I return my products?
Yes, in addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, we voluntarily grant you a 30-day return policy from the receipt of your order.
Requirements for a return:
- The item must be unused, undamaged and in its original packaging
- You will need proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice)
How it works: Simply contact us by email at office@layerlution.com – we will then send you a return label and all further instructions. Please do not send back any items unannounced, as these cannot be accepted.

Do you also manufacture products based on our own designs or templates?
Yes – custom productions are possible. If you already have your own design or a 3D file, we are happy to professionally implement it.
